About the Neighborhood

Information about the Linden Hills Neighborhood:

Bordered by two of the city’s most popular lakes (Bde Maka Ska and Lake Harriet), Linden Hills residents know how to have a good time on and off the water. There’s plenty of rich history here, too, as the neighborhood started buzzing when the Como-Harriet streetcar line began rolling through in the 1920s (you can still take a nostalgic ride today). Just steps away from the line, the commercial hub of the neighborhood thrives with fabulous cafes and a vast array of indie shops. There are countless ways to play at Lake Harriet, part of the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park. Nearly 3 miles of pedestrian and bike trails circle the perimeter and pass some of the city’s most stunning homes. Rent bikes—in addition to canoes, kayaks and paddle boats—through Wheel Fun Rentals. No matter where you’re at on the lake, it’s hard to miss the castle-like Band Shell, complete with turrets. Here, you’ll find a full lineup of free concerts and movies through the summer. Harriet stays colorful in the winter months, with the annual Lake Harriet Winter Kite Festival drawing kites of all shapes and sizes. You’re also likely to spot ice fishing and snowshoeing enthusiasts during the deep-freeze months.

Decades before the Light Rail came to town, commuters hopped aboard streetcars to get from home to work and back. The Minnesota Streetcar Museum offers rides aboard the beautifully restored cars. Hop on the Como-Harriet Streetcar Line for a scenic tour between the lakes. The line’s North Platform drops riders off at Bde Maka Ska, the largest of the Chain of Lakes. During warmer weather, lounge on three beaches or get active on the soccer and softball fields or sand volleyball court. As the chill sets in and the lake freezes over, you may spot people catching the breeze and snowkiting across the surface. A stone’s throw from the lake’s western shoreline, The Bakken Museum offers a treasure trove of science and technology discoveries. The only Smithsonian-affiliated museum in the state features immersive experiences including Frankenstein’s Laboratory. “Meet” author Mary Shelley and watch Frankenstein’s famous monster come to life.

On the western edge of the neighborhood at France Avenue and 44th Street, get your wine and cheese fix at the aptly named France 44. This family-run destination has specialized in a worldly selection of wines, beers and spirits—plus ethically sourced cheeses—for 60 years. Catch one of their free tastings on Fridays and Saturdays, or sign up for one of their enlightening courses focused on a variety of foods and beverages. Farther south on France, around 50th Street, more character-filled shops—along with restaurants and an indie movie theater—reinforce this area’s must-visit status.

About the Neighborhood

Eagan is the largest city in Dakota County, Minnesota. Its landscape is made up of rolling hills, laced with more than 1,200 small lakes, wetlands and ponds. Eagan is a community known for its trees. It is the 8th largest city in the state with just over 67,000 people. Eagan is south and equal distance to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Just across the Minnesota River is the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Eagan's make-up has changed greatly since its founding in 1860. Then, we were a community of Irish, German and French Canadian farmers. Now, Eaganites work for major corporations, technology and healthcare industries, retail and service jobs and come from throughout the country and the world. Our rolling hills, lush with mature trees, are home to more than 1,300 acres of City parkland. The landscape is dotted with nearly as many water bodies at 1,270. The community has a wide variety of housing. We have the largest outlet mall in the state and nearly as many people working here as the 67,000 that call Eagan home.

About the Neighborhood

The Morningside neighborhood is located in the Northeast quadrant of the city of Edina. It is bounded on the North by 40th Street, on the East by France Avenue, on the South (roughly) by Sunnyside Road, and on the West (roughly) by Natchez Avenue. This neighborhood is home to a large Weber Park and Fields, named after an area resident (George Weber) who served as the then village of Morningside’s one police officer, janitor and church deacon. The Morningside neighborhood has a history of unique community since its inception. Morningside grew along the Como-Harriet

Streetcar line, the intermediary connecting Linden Hills in Minneapolis with the city of Edina. Originally part of Edina, Morningside was platted in 1905 by the Grimes family heirs to the family farmland existing there. The Morningside community seceded from Edina in 1920 to become its own independent village. It didn’t re-join the city of Edina until 1966. To this day it is architecturally distinct from its neighbors in the Edina Country Club.

The homes in Morningside were built primarily in the first three decades of the 20th century, with bungalows abundant.

Live The Life

One-Of-A-Kind, Luxury Home In Sought-After

Lynhurst, Minneapolis

When Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote the words, “You can’t always get what you want” in 1969, somehow I don’t think they saw 1907 W 49th Street, Minneapolis coming.

Sure, the Rolling Stones got a lot of things right. But they certainly missed the mark on this one.Especially when you say, "Alexa, I'm home!" and your home instantly responds by truning your lights, the tempature and TV to the perfect setting and so much more... You have to see it to believe it.

In a historic part of the Lynhurst neighborhood, nestled on a very rare lot, is an oversized 51' x 150' walkout plot of land - GroundUp Development & EHR Construction aim to bring your dreams, for the perfect home, to life. Situated in one of
our most prominent, high-end areas of Minnesota and surrounded by luxury homes
on Lake Harriet Parkway... You won't find anything else like it.

With a modern flair, added to this traditional style of home found in the neighborhood. We've paid close attention to every detail, in respect to the history of this magical neighborhood... While at the same time giving you all the luxuries of today's trendy aesthetic.

We’re talking about a one-of-a-kind masterpiece your neighbors will be kicking themselves for not investing in when they had the chance.

The chef-style, open concept kitchen was crafted with the modern socialize in mind. Everything from, vast amounts of luxury hand made cabinets, double inset ovens to an extended waterfall island that both triples your counter space and serves as a built-in bar. Finishing it off with top end appliances any chef would envy and a butler's pantry for preparing meals while entertaining your friends. This kitchen has it all...

Whether you want to make homemade Pad Thai from scratch, serve up a family style fajita bar on Friday nights or just have extra space to put together this week’s meal from Hello Fresh, in this cutting edge kitchen you can do it all.

And you can do it in style.

Imagine hosting wine and cheese nights or Easter brunch in your own eat-in-kitchen. Your guests will have trouble choosing what custom touches to comment on first. While at the same time bossing "Alexa" around to see all the cool technology hidden inside your home. Your kids will finally be eager to invite their friends over for that sleepover. You'll even find them coming home early Friday so they don’t miss out on Friday game nights at home... With the rents (short for parents).

Also, did we mention the customized, choose-your-own-adventure recessed lights? Or the option to build your own breathtaking backsplash? Or the gorgeous summer evenings you will enjoy on your very own roof- top deck?

Perfect for weekend BBQ’s, 4th of July parties or just another Saturday night on the grill. The rare added feature of a roof-top deck, atop a hard to find two car attached garage, creates an instant indoor/outdoor living space you can enjoy almost year-round. Invite your in-laws over and watch their jaws drop as you serve them mimosas and frittatas on your outdoor oasis.

When winter comes and the weather chills - There is even more to enjoy.

Gather friends and family around your customized fireplace, an ideal  hangout for Thanksgiving dessert, Christmas hot toddies or hot chocolate on a cold January night. Spend hours swapping funny stories of holidays past. Or, sing along as the local pianist plays a few favorite holiday chords on your grand piano in the music room.

After the holiday meal is served and desserts are savored by the fire, your guests will be content to cozy up in one of the many spare rooms upstairs. There’s plenty of space for everyone to stay awhile.

Hidden away in your master bath, you and your loved one can warm yourselves in the large soaking tub made for two. Enjoy hours in your spa-like master suite - reveling in the comforts of home and family; you have worked so hard for all these years.

You deserve it. You earned this. You are home.

There will be plenty to see and envy, in this gorgeous and spacious Lynhurst Minneapolis new construction home. A 2-car garage, built discreetly under your luxury oversized roof-top deck... is enough to make Iron Man jealous. From oversized windows to a grand staircase, high-end cabinetry, inlaid bookshelves, designer faucets, jewelry like light fixtures and more. Every detail in this home screams “cutting edge.”

The best part, you can customize each cutting edge feature in a style all your own. Move over Joanna and Chip Gaines - we’ve got more in store for this home than you’ve ever seen on HGTV.

Also, did we mention this Contemporary Home is available in a 5-Bedroom, 4-Bath floor plan?

Forget the Hewing Hotel. Give your friends and family their own 5-star getaway, where even small trips to the bathroom will feel like luxury living.

Each detail is hand-crafted to delight and amaze. It’s the perfect home you have been dreaming of - in the kind of neighborhood even your parents couldn’t imagine for you.

It all starts with south minneapolis school - Known for innovation, technology and high college entrance rates, rest assured your kids are in the very best hands here.

But they’re not the only ones. From the monthly art exhibits at Minneapolis Institute of Art to The Minikahda Club, you’ll have plenty to do. The best thing about living in this location... You are just a few steps from walking some of the most beautiful trails and enjoying everything city lake living has to offer.

The Lynhurst neighborhood of Minneapolis offers your family a first-rate kind of life.

Add to that a custom-built, masterpiece called home, and we know you’ll never look back.

You see, some people are just content to live near the Minneapolis lakes, enjoying the shopping, dining and soaking up the many other benefits of living in a sought-after town. Others understand that dream living doesn’t end at your front door. You need a dream home to make your lifestyle complete.

Which kind of person are you?

Have you always dreamed of building your own home? A home with everything you could ever want? A one-of-a-kind masterpiece your neighborhoods can’t stop telling their friends about?

If you can answer “Yes” to any of these, then this Prairie Style Contemporary, Minneapolis, MN new-construction home is perfect for you.

Wait, I almost forgot. A one-of-a-kind home isn't that without a SECRET ROOM.

We challenge you to find it!!

The Linden Hills Life

unique, Luxury Home In Sought-After

Linden Hills, Minneapolis

Live a Life of Luxury In Your Private Linden Hills Oasis

If you’ve ever watched movies like The Great Gatsby or The Godfather II, or watched TV shows like Dynasty or The Sopranos, then you know some of the main characters are surrounded in some form of opulence.

They have high-priced cars, impeccable clothing, and most importantly, luxurious homes that we’ve all dreamed of living in. While you likely don’t desire the sometimes harmful consequences of those characters’ lifestyles and actions, it’s entirely possible to live in a Linden Hills home that has all the features you could ever dream of and more!

Situated in the highly sought-after neighborhood of Linden Hills, Minneapolis the property at 4325 Ewing Avenue South delivers at every level.

This modern, farmhouse-style, new construction home was recently built in 2016 by well-respected Highmark Builders. The original owners, Brian & Janet, knew the “HighMark” reputation and work ethic, and they were a must when it came to building their dream home. Brian & Janet had also worked previously with Jeff Tritch of award-winning Tritch Design, who is known for his dedication to creative and thoughtful designs in South Minneapolis. He was brought in to add a unique style to this exceptional home.

With 4,300 square feet of living space, this home gives you a private oasis to escape to after a long day at work or on the weekends without having to go far. Nowhere is this truer than with the private backyard featuring a pool, an enclosed patio with fireplace, and an open patio complete with a kitchen for your ideal cookout setting.

If you’re looking to live in ultimate style, design and luxury in the coveted neighborhood of Linden Hills, then 4325 Ewing Avenue is an absolute must-see!

A Walkable Neighborhood to Enjoy the Outdoors and Nearby Amenities

Finding an exclusive property in a popular neighborhood is a rarity. But finding one that’s also a few blocks away from outdoor activities and recreation is something you simply can’t pass up!

The home is on a curved street that dead-ends into Waveland Park. Take a quick troll over to this quaint, triangle-shaped park and enjoy walking and bike trails as well as a tennis court.

Nestled between Lake Harriet and Bde Maka Ska, both are within walkable distance and offer a unique set of amenities. Not to mention that you’ll find many other parks and lakes throughout the Minneapolis region. Lake Harriet offers abundant recreational activities that include sailing, a system of bike and walking trails, beach areas, and a bandshell that’s utilized for concerts and performances during the summer months. Grab something to eat at the outdoor restaurant and hang out in the designated picnic area while you and your friends watch the band at this fifth-generation venue.

Want to plan something for date night or visiting friends? Get your walking shoes on and in just a few blocks, you’ll be surrounded by plenty of shops and dining establishments. Impress friends and family at Martina, one of the most popular dining spots in the area. As a four-star restaurant, Martina offers an array of Argentinian cuisine and boasts some of the best cocktails in the city.

Get introduced to a variety of local food options at the Linden Farmers’ Market. Here you’ll find food trucks and vendors selling specialty foods like falafel, Indian food, and pizza. You can also choose from a variety of strawberries or take in a yoga class on Sundays.

And if you want to learn more about the town’s heritage, head over to the Minnesota Streetcar Museum that pays homage to the area’s streetcar designation. Enjoy a historical tour or hop on a streetcar as a quick way to travel to either Lake Bde Maka Ska or Lake Harriet.

Throughout the year, you, your family, and guests can enjoy events like the Linden Hills Festival held annually in May. This community celebration has designated areas for dining and a beer garden, as well as a stage where local musicians can entertain attendees. Bring the kids as there are plenty of activities to keep them busy along with a used book sale, art fair and marketplace, and a silent auction.

If you consider yourself a foodie, you’ll definitely want to get tickets to the annual Taste of Linden Hills. Enjoy a fun, upscale event while contributing to a great cause, Linden Hills Neighborhood Grants, which support projects and organizations that make the Linden Hills community a better place to live and work.

Or, if you prefer to stay close to home, the low-traffic street provides an excellent setting for the local neighborhood to hold parties in the summertime. Or, you can head over to Waveland Park at the end of the block.

Enjoy a Private Oasis Just Outside Your Door

With a larger-than-usual lot for city living, this home already offers you tons of privacy from the outside world. As you approach the property, you’ll notice the front-load 3-car (tandem) garage that conveniently attaches to the home. During those long, winter months, you’ll appreciate being embraced by warm air as you step out of your car due to the garage being a heated space.

Take a few steps around to the back of the home, and you’ll think you’ve been transported to a breathtaking paradise!

When the weather’s warm, the kids and their friends will love cooling off in the expansive pool while they dodge between the three waterfalls that delicately drop onto the pool’s surface. Join them or sit back and enjoy the sun on the open deck while you relax to the soothing sounds of water in motion.

At some point, you and the kids are going to have growling tummies. You won’t even have to interrupt the fun to go inside and cook because you have an outdoor kitchen just steps away. Simply serve cold drinks from the refrigerator or grill hamburgers and hot dogs for the group. Or, have friends over in the evening for a cookout that’s enhanced with an elegantly lit patio and pool.

Even in inclement weather, you can still enjoy the backyard’s gorgeous surroundings given the enclosed 15’ x 14’ covered patio overlooking the pool. Block out too much sunlight at the touch of a button with remote-controlled Phantom screens. Simply light the stone-accented cozmo fireplace and embrace the warmth of being indoors while having the outdoors as your backdrop.

Welcome to Your Luxury-Filled Home

Step inside, and you’ll instantly notice the stunning Walnut floating staircase leading you upstairs. But first, you’ll want to take in everything the main floor and its unique features have to offer.

Just to your right, you’ll discover a room that works perfectly as a home office. Ideal for those days when you’d rather work in your PJ’s instead of a dress and heels or a suit and tie. You have a great view as you can look out the window that faces the front of the house as you take calls and meet deadlines.

The open layout features heated Walnut flooring throughout the home, offering comfort any time of the year. Abundant light can be found in any room due to plentiful windows and recessed lighting.

A Gourmet Kitchen to Rival the Top Chefs in the World

This expansive kitchen is sure to be your favorite room in the house. Designed with convenience, elegance, and functionality in mind, you could easily compete on The Iron Chef.

For intimate meals in, you can seat the family at the massive 9’ marble island that doubles as a seating area as well as a tremendously convenient workspace. Filled with tons of cabinets and drawers for storing knickknacks, family and guests can keep you company as you whip up culinary delights or mix drinks.

Filled with sophisticated appliances like Sub Zero and Wolf, you can be assured everything in your kitchen will stay in top shape for many years to come. The refrigerator-sized wine cooler ensures you can choose a bottle of wine that matches any meal you create. A half-wall accentuated with custom, handmade cabinets and frosted, backlit glass doors gives the kitchen ambiance and style. Situated in the middle of the kitchen, the sink helps you to have easy access to the faucet regardless of where you’re working.

Additional custom cabinetry surrounds the space and highlights the gorgeous backsplash. Two commercial grade ovens provide added convenience for large holiday gatherings or when the big game is on TV.

Want a more formal dining experience?

Just a few steps from the kitchen, you can host family and guests in the 17’ x 15’ dining room featuring an indoor fireplace that overlooks the patio and pool area. As it’s connected to the living room as well as the backyard oasis, this home has abundant space to entertain guests or hold parties any time of year.

Escape to a Private Sanctuary at the End of the Day

At the end of the day, it’s time to wind down and relax.

The master suite offers an ideal view where you can leave the cares of the day behind due to the large window overlooking the front of the home. Step into the private bath and enjoy dual vanities and a designated area for doing makeup or styling hair. Soak away your troubles in the large tub or clean off in the custom shower featuring a heated bench for relaxing and steaming away your stress.

And if you need lots of storage space, the custom walk-in closet provides abundant space and compartments for clothing and shoes.

Not only will you have plenty of room to get ready on busy mornings, but you also won’t have to worry about family or guests scrambling to use the bathroom. Each upstairs bedroom has its own private full bath making those struggles a thing of the past.

The laundry room is also located on the upper level of the home, so you’ll never have to lug dirty laundry all the way downstairs.

Hangout Downstairs with Plenty of Additional Living Space

Even though this home has plenty of places to relax and enjoy luxurious living, the finished basement on the lower level takes added comfort up a notch.

Whether you want a room for the kids to hang out while you entertain guests, Dad needs a man cave, or you want a designated room for watching movies or playing video games, the basement is the place to be! Especially since you can use the 25’ x 15’ family room as an additional space to entertain guests given the convenience of a kitchenette and small bar area. An extra bedroom and three-quarter bath offer a great living space for guests or a teenager who wants privacy.

Embrace Elegance & Sophisticated Living in a Highly Coveted Neighborhood

The owner’s Brian & Janet left no stone unturned when it came to designing and building their dream home. From heated floors, everywhere, to high-profile appliances to a larger-than-life kitchen, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything that’s missing from this home. Priced at $2,100,000, the exclusive combination of a well-respected builder and designer makes this a one-of-a-kind property that will be difficult to match anywhere.

Situated in Linden Hills, a neighborhood that’s in high demand, you won’t want to risk someone else grabbing this exquisite property. Ideal for those who want to enjoy the outdoors and have the convenience of walking to nearby amenities. Embrace luxury living in a home offering a private oasis for you, your family, and guests while being surrounded with the ultimate in elegance and sophistication.

About the Neighborhood

Spirit of Brandtjen Farm is a unique residential neighborhood that fosters a true sense of community. “Spirit” blends its rich history as a dairy farm with beautiful new homes on tree-lined streets designed to preserve the beauty of nature.

The Brandtjen family dairy barn, restored with original California redwood, serves as the community center where neighbors frequently socialize with friends and family. “The Barn” community center offers a full kitchen, gathering spaces, fitness center, and outdoor swimming pool, and hosts many neighbor-organized events from book and bridge clubs to swimming classes and Yoga at the Barn.

Spirit’s newest amenity, “The Granary,” is a second community center equipped with an exercise facility, gathering room, outdoor swimming pool and neighborhood playground.

Homesites are situated to enjoy the abundance of open green space, lakes, wetlands, and wooded areas, all linked by miles of trails. Tree-lined sidewalks encourage front-porch living, and residents enjoy numerous outdoor amenities including picnic areas, fire pits, community garden, sand volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoe pit, and playgrounds.

The Spirit neighborhood is home to East Lake Elementary School and is close to grocery stores, shopping, dining, recreation and entertainment. Homeowners in Spirit of Brandtjen Farm are part of a community association.
